Why I Heart The Simpsons

*****UPDATE 10/7/08*******
Well, well, well......looks like Big Brother doesn't want us to see this here video.
The link to a snippet of an upcoming Simpsons episode has apparently been yanked by the powers that be.
The scene was of Homer trying unsuccessfully to cast a vote for Obama at an electronic voting machine, which in turn, tries to eat Homer. "This doesn't happen in America," Homer exclaims, "Maybe in Ohio, but not in America!"
So...we shall soon see if the scene is cut from the actual episode as well.

Just one more reason why The Simpsons is the best.show.ever!
My tears of laughter were mixing with my tears of rage at the reality of the situation.

Wow. That is brilliant. And I agree with you--funny, but maddening, too!!

MHP--this will be on the Nov 2 episode. James L. Brooks says the episode is something of a Rorschach test.....
I can't wait to see the whole thing!

GR--it is WORSE than the Emperor's new clothes! It is Big Brother putting the kibosh on free speech. Well, probably just Fox not wanting unreleased stuff flying around the internet. LOL...it probably would have taken you all day to download it anyway.

It's still available here:

Thanks DB! I wonder why this link is still active? I just realized now (from the music) that this is going to be a TreeHouse of Horrors segment--I can't wait to see the whole episode.

The box is back up today, although I'm not going to even try to view the video. (You're right, it probably would take all day.) However, you might want to check out my other blog (http://ipswhatsup.blogspot.com) to see the new Pro-IP 'law' (waiting for pres. signature) and what it says about making will-be-released-commercially things available on the internet. ;)
But I agree, it is WORSE than the emperor's new clothes.
