FI-NA-LLY! After what seems like FOREVER, season 5 of Rescue Me begins tonight on FX.
I don't know what the delay was all about..writers' strike, Tatum O'Neal's drug bust...who knows? What I DO know is that I'll be watching. And then having a tummy ache afterwards because this show is just so 'effing disturbing. I can't wait to see one of my most favorite actors ever--Michael J. Fox--as he joins the cast of this awesome show. Enjoy!

I kind of thought it was off the air. Did Tantrum really have a drug bust? Started to lose enthusiasm when they killed the captain or chief or whatever off with a heart attack. And what happened to his wife in that expensive facility?
Also thought it was too much when they killed his son.
Jeanna--it was off for almost two years, I think. I agree with you that some good characters were written out of the series. I really liked the chief! It seems that I see these actors now on other shows or in movies. Maybe this show is shaky on the production end, and actors will take work elsewhere...who knows?
Tatum got busted for meth possession maybe a year ago...she claimed she was doing "research" for a character. Ya right.
Last night's show was good, and I was happy to see it again, but nothing can compare to the insane first season. I was emotionally drained each week after watching. They say there are 22 episodes in the can, so that's good news.
We adore it too! I started watching it with Mom when I lived in MKE, but got Aaron hooked when we first started dating :)
Margaux--I couldn't believe it when your mom said she liked this show.
My other favorite is "Ugly Betty"...LOL Talk about polar opposites!
