Mutant Pizza
I know I often post about the wonderful meals I've made or the beautiful vegetables I get at the farmers' market. That's just the highlight reel folks. More often that I want to admit, meals at Fartwood Manor are pretty mundane. I usually keep a pizza or two in the freezer for those nights when I don't want to cook. The Trader Joe's Pizza Margherita is our favorite. I really like the crispy crust.
Sunday, I wanted to have a quickie lunch before we went out and about. So I pulled out this (not Trader Joe's) pizza and...WTF?!?! A mutant pizza! Somebody at the pizza factory was sleeping on the job.
We were really pressed for time so I cooked it anyway. It was pretty bad.

Well, at least they didn't skimp on the pepperoni. Thanks for the laugh; I needed that.
GR--Yeah this was one weird pizza...it never really cooked through..but we were so hungry!
I normally like Freschetta. I would have shoved it back in and taken it back for a refund.
Hey, my hubby loves Margherita pizza, so the Trader Joe's version is really good? He is the most finicky man and normally won't eat frozen pizzas.
WC--we were soooo hungry and that was all that we had in the house. Maybe if I go back with this photo?!
Judi--if it isn't TJ Margherita, it is the Quattro Fromaggi. Very thin, cracker-y crust. It is only 3.99 (i think) so if hubby doesn't like it, you aren't out a bundle.
